Covid 19 Update

UPDATE 24TH MARCH 2020

Following the announcement from the Prime Minister yesterday evening it is clear that schools should only be open for children in exceptional circumstances and the vast majority of adults and children are expected to stay at home. We are very grateful to you all for following the government advice and keeping your child at home where at all possible.

All our classes, including the nursery, have now moved to our remote learning model and you should all have had contact from the relevant teachers advising you how that will look for your child. If anyone has not had contact, please could you email info@llangattockschoolmonmouth.co.uk to ensure that we have the correct details for you. Most staff are now working remotely, but we will continue to try and have someone available to answer phone enquiries should you need to speak to someone.

So far, the online lessons have been going very well, but please bear with us if there are any teething problems. We hope that by the end of the week the system will be running smoothly and we will be able to offer a rounded education to support you all through this unprecedented time.

We recommend you regularly check the government advice on how to keep you and your family safe and have provided some useful links below.

We hope you all stay safe and well over the next few weeks and will keep you updated via email, Remind and on the website should advice to schools change.
